Am so freaking full...

Rushed thru dinner as my beloved was late for a meet up with his friend. Boy, that was one of the fastest dinner I had ever eaten. Finished my plate (or maybe still left half a mound of rice) in under 10 mins. The result: Overfed and bloated. Guess I muz have swallowed lots of air while makaning...

Today is one of the rare saturdays I am home at this hour. Usually, I'll be out wrecking havoc haha... Coz beloved has a CCA gathering at his alma mater this evening hence am home now. Haf a good time my luv :)

Was hopping to get some sun this morning with my frens but the sky (or the sun) thought otherwise. Woke up at 8am to an overcast sky and hence plans were shelved. Damn.

Finished 4 past mid night by Stephen King and am re-reading it again. Love the stories 'The Library Police', 'Langoliers' and 'The Sun Dog'. Hope to go down to Kino to get another collection. Wonder if there's any sale going on. It seems like only Kino and Borders has a more complete collections of the author's books. I wanna get 'The Bachman Books'.

Listening to Everything But The Girl : Missing, BSB's Drowning, Desiree and Babyface's Fire and The Cardigan's Love Fool, am on a nostaglic music journey *wink*

Met up with my good pals yesterday and had a yummy bowl of bak chor mee...

Mmmmm, the sourish and spicy aroma of the piping hot noodles is still lingering in my nostrils. It is just pass lunch time, yet just thinking about yesterday's dinner is making me drool.
*To friends: Let's go there and dig in again shall we?*

After a hearty meal complete with refreshing coke and homemade barley, we proceeded to PS to look for gifts for the Children's Day for my friend's and my students. Popped over to Daiso at close to 9pm and spent an hour browsing for suitable gifts.

This time round, I really scan the whole shop and bought some small gifts and a pack of yummilicous caramel corn! Yum, sweet (yet not overly sweet), light and crispy even my mum and bro fell in lurve with the snack.

Mum even ordered me to buy more the next time haha

The outing as usual was peppered with lots laughter and gossips haha... We are like a fish market when the 3 of girls meet up. VERY VERY 38! *oPPS*

Got home to tomato land at close to 11pm and gave a tinkle to my beloved as he mentioned he will be in the area meeting with his friend. But too bad, he and his friend had moved on to Cineleisure at Orchard by that time so we could not meet up for a short while :(

Hit the sack at 11 plus as I was hit by a sudden bout of sneezing fit. My nose was all red, watery and itchy... Darn, wonder what I breathed in...

TGIF! Wanna go home and sleep. Oh, muz remind myself to get a shower cap too, bought a tub of beer treatment wax from Watsons last week and it is still unopended sitting on my dresser...Hope my memory doesn'y fail me later :p

ArCaDE jUnKiE

Long time had not had a go at the arcade...

With proliferation of computer and online games, I have had not for ages laid hand on a token to slot in a machine in an arcade to play away...

Uusually, I will be honing my skills on my bro's laptop for a game of CS or away on the office comp playing yahoo games. Arcade are in fact a bane in my life due to the noisy nature and rowdy crowd of people there. Hence, I avoid the place like a plague.

BUT GUESS WHAT, the arcade junkie in me (which I never knew) surfaced yesterday. With more than half an hour on our hands, my colleague suggested we play the time away at an arcade near our workplace. Thankfully the place at lunch hour wasn't crowded and we played. Was at lost at what to play ( I usually just watch people play in the arcade den me myself playing it).

She introduced mi to a game where you need to match 3 cards of the same pic to gain points. Sounds easy but it aint' coz you need plenty of brains to figure out how to clear all the tiles within the time given to you. Darn, I only got to the 4th round onli.

We also played the bish bash game where you got to hit the red, green and blue buttons continously and as hard as you can to win. Boy that game is a real stress reliever!

My hands are itching to go again :p

BrEaK mY fAsT

The most important meal of the day...

For today, am starting my day with a mac sausage muffin and coffee set... Mmmmmmm, smells heavenly. Want a bite? :p

Anyway, it's not always I engage in breakfast. In fact, it is one of the most neglected meals in my life surrounded upon lunch, brunch, dinner, supper and snacks... It's not just me but many the people around me have the tendency to skip their breakfast. The most cited reasons? We just dun feel hungry enough...

On the contrary, breakfast is extremely important meal. After an overnight fast (when we are in deep slumber), we need to replenish fuel to start the day hence by breaking the fast by having breakfast. If not one tends to feel lethargic and overeat during lunch or dinnner *horrified* Overeat = Fat!

But still, I do skip my breakfast at times. It has become a HARD habit to quit...

Still on the topic of breakfast, I have noticed that Singaporeans (well, most of them anyway) choice of brekky seems to be pretty unhealthy. Look around the bustling hawker centres and kopitiams on a Sunday morning and you will have a pretty clear idea of what we are stuffing ourselves early morning...

Laksa, mee rubus, mee siam, duck/chicken rice, carrot cake etc etc... Omg! So oily! Not exactly good since our just started operating tummy after a nite's fast is not accustomed to working so hard to keep the oil and spice away within you.

Good choice will be porridge, soup kway tiao or cereals with milk. May sound bland but they are a much better choice (God, am sounding like a dietican here). Still, as I have said bad habits are hard to quit and the food paradise here does not help (just like me have mac for brekky :p)...

Will try, will try very hard...

Just came back to office from Sentosa.

Spent the first half of the day at Sentosa filming PART II for a vid for Sentosa. My day started real early at 6am in the morning (an hour earlier than usual) and I was soooooo tempted to sleep in for 5 mins more (or even longer). BUT hell no, got impt stuff to report for so just gotta lug my sleep laden bod up frm the depths of my cosy bed.

Took the train to HarbourFront in a dreamlike mode, met up with my boss and the filiming crew near Sentosa's gantry point and work work work.

Had lunch before boss drove me back to the office. Jus had a cuppa hot milo while I typed out this blog. I am sooooo sleepy (should haf taken kopi instead of milo - milo makes mi wanna slp as it realli fills me up)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope 6pm descends upon me soon. Wanna go home :(

SuNkISsEd

Got tanned over the weekend...

Hmmm... I'm naturally fair by birth person and have also envied the healthy nutty brown canvas that some people sport. Love the glow and healthy look (although extra after tanning care is VERY important).

Hence, after I got my newfound tan, I moisturise like crazy. Besides, it has been advised that ample moisturisation will allow the tan to last longer and brighter. My beauty mantra for the moment: Moisturise, moisturise from head to toe!

Have not achieved the desired tan colour yet, will probably go tan again VERY soon. Hope my face colour does not fade too quickly. My face for some freaky reason tends to 'lose colour' faster than the rest of my body and it realli sucks!

Anyway, I need to get some masks to calm my face and destress... In fact I love these after tan treatments. It feels soooo gd to laden your face with a mask that is chockful of goodness for your skin and lying down in cool rm and slowly lulling into slp (jus that make sure you dun realli fall asleep if not the results will be dire when you awaken from your supposedly 'beauty' slp).

Talking about beauty, I love those paste kind of masks instead of the increasingly popular sheet masks. Why? Because those sheet mask always (or never) fit my face properly. There will ALWAYS be excess sheets crumpled near my chin/nose/forhead... Sickening... So I prefer paste where I can spread them over my face evenly and nicely.

I have a weakness for masks filled with vit c and tons of spa water. They just sound sooooooooo gd to me :p Love nivea vit c mask! U guys shld try it out. Cleanses my face real well and makes it more energised. Plus you onli need to have it on for 10 mins max.

Looking for eye paste that cools and refreshes. Any recommendations?

Drama serials can be so unrealistic at times...

Have you watched drama serials and wonder at times, how could a possible action be possible and how the hell does it reflect what's going on in the real life?

Being a fanatic of beauty and all lifestyle-holic, I am soooo amazed at the unrealistic protrayal of certain scenes in drama serials be it locally or internationally.

1) Why on earth with the age old beauty mantra to remove all traces of makeup before bed is not heeded in La La land? Actually, the answer is pretty obvious, being a celeb no way can they go naked face on TV. May result in gasps from viewers and for aesthetic reasons, makeup can;t be removed at all times. They still emerged fresh face and zit free the following morning. DARN

2) Why they can still look so pretty/dashing and neat after a hellish dance or exercise? I always look extremely sweaty, clothes messed up, hair in a disarray and soooooooo freaking not fit for the camera after my jog, swim, exercise routine. DARN

3) They make kissing and having sex seems so heavenly and easy. DARN

DaiSo DaY OuT

Just came back to office after lunch...

The sun was like scorching hot (would haf enjoyed it I was at the beach but not when I'm working)!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Daiso outlet at PS has opened *Yeahhhhhhhhhh!* and it was packed with lotsa lotsa ladies. Everything cost a mere 2 bucks and this outrageous price results in many ppl's shopping basket filled up beauty, household, gifts, titbits and other knick knacks.

Scoured through the outlet with my colleague and was intrigued by all the japan based products (although I cant read jap but they do have brief descriptons of each product). A 1st time shopper at Daiso since the IMM outlet was waaayyy outta the waaayyy for me :p

Heard its much much bigger than the PS outlet, my itchy legs might just take me there one day haha...

Anyway, I resisted the lure of the price tags and end buyinh just a pkt of banana chips. It was awful coz I cant spend sooooooo much :p

Will be back there for sure to throughly browse from the first to the last shelf another day.

I WILL BE BACK (with a vengance) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PrEtTy PrEtTy FiReWoRkS

Was down at City Hall ydae after work to meet up with beloved for dinner...

Sounds ironic since we had wanted to avoid the whole darn area since the onset of the WB/IMF thingy. Was there around 7 plus and the place including Marina Square seems a little less crowded then before.

Had dinner at Marina Square's foodcourt and love the curry chicken noodles and bak chor mee there. Yum yum yum. Had a chat till past 8pm and met Lily and her bf. Was tipped off by her that the Esplanade and the surrounding building were especially lighted up last nite in celebration of the soon-to -be ending WB/IMF meeting.

Tried going over to the Esplanade but there were many security and closure so ended up going to Raffles Place. Lily sent me an sms later on that there will be fireworks ard 950 and hence beloved and me stood to watch the beautiful display near the Fullerton.

The display was darn close up and the sounds were heart thumping (have to admit just listening to the sounds alone feels pretty scary). In fact, the display looks even nicer and grander than the NDP one :p

Caught the train after the display ended and lugged ourselves home. Was so tired. Welcomed home by hyperactive Whisky whom mum did a little cha cha like dance to block him from rushing outta the house. The notti little boi dashed out of the house on Monday when I opened the gate to leave for tuition in the evening. Had to chase after him and called out but he din stop.

Ran till the next corridor and thankfully he halted at the firsy unit to sniff at their shoes. Coincidentally the unit kept dogs too and one of their dogs was at the door looking pretty puzzled at this 'new stranger' aka Whisky outside sniffing.

I walked up and bundled Whisky back home. Can't imagine if we lost him. Notti little boi, gave him a scolding and spank after the 'escape'. Mum's going to leash him everytime before she opens the door.

My heart was thumping like mad when he ran out and din stop. Was afraid he will run down the stairs... *scary*

cHicKeN rIcE sPLEnDoUr

Iconic dish of Singapore.

I just had the yummiest (for a veri long time) lunch today. Had the much loved Hainanese chicken rice and it was darn lip smacking good. Tender roasted breast meat piled delishly on plate soaked with special soya sauce and liven up with crunchy cucumber slices and fragrant corriandar. Yum!

Shared a $7 plate with my colleague and it was money well spent. Love it!!!!!!!! We both have a penchant for roasted chicken breast meat (just cant swallow the jelly fatty white chicken even though true chicken rice connoisseurs will rebute that) and we gorged haha...

Paired with a glass of refreshing lime juice. I was like a contented fat persian cat *mew*

The after effects? Sleepy~

*whispers: the stall is near the famous rochor beancurd stall, there are 2 chicken rice stalls and I frequent the one with the red signboard*

What a weekend...

Was out of office the whole day last fri to be on location at Sentosa to shoot their company game vid. And boy the weather wasn't at all kind to us. With a number of outdoor shoots, it had of all days to rain! Luckily, a major scene at the golf course was the 1st scene slated to be shot and it was wrapped up before the first raindrop started to fall.

And the heavy rain continued all the way till late evening. Dampening indeed, we had to contest with the loud gushing rain sounds to get the audio of the speeches of the people being filmed. Was supposed to go tanning on sat morning but the sky remained cloudy and my plans were dashed. Darn, was looking forward to getting 'roasted'...

Met up with huiting and sooying on fri aft I was back from Sentosa around 7pm. Tucked into delish hot fries, crispy breaded chicken and smooth chicken tighs at Swensens. Yum! Managed to get a window seat while I waited for the girls to arrive at PS as I was early.

We had a great time makan-ing, shopping and talking. Love meeting up with you guys! ^_^

Arrived home at close to 11pm and chatted with my beloved before taking a late night bath and popping my fatigue laden body to bed. The night was a little chilly and Whisky snuggled up at the foot of my bed these past few nights.

Was supposed to go clothes shopping with beloved ydae but the rain has really gotten into me and I was down with a slight fever and flu. Sorry dear, cant accompany you yday *guilty*
Am feeling much beta now and at work typing this entry out and re-collecting my tots.

A shout out to Christel to: Thanks for the Meji chocs (ate em all liaoz) and the lucky charm. Love it. Thanks for the pieces of Japan you brought back for me :)

gOod OLe SeC 2 yRs

Another case of schooling nostalgia has hit me again...

Was talking to my student (who is in sec 2 now) during tuition and she was telling me how much she will miss her sec 2 years. I asked her why and she told me cause of the stress awaiting for the O levels and she does not want to be 'old' aka seniors of the senior... Haha, I can totally relate to that.

Frankly the sec 2 yrs are really one of the best. Why?

Because...

1) At sec 2 you can lord over the freshies aka sec 1 who are all blur blur and new to the school. You are the seniors in their eyes and you know where the toilets are :p

2) No O level stress which starts once u entre sec 3

3) Senior enough yet not ancient like the sec 4 or 5 (oops)

Haizzzz...miss those times.

When I was in sec 2 I was made a prefect and often my prefectorial duties involve guarding the gates situated around my school and in the school. Come to think of it, many funny things happened during these duties and were frankly quite fun when I look back on the memories.

I loved to guard/patrol the gates with the school corridors or at the back of the technical building of my school. The school corridors involve a pair of prefects on duty and I usually get paired with my fellow prefectorial pals. I still remember how my partner-in-duty demo how the guy she was crushing on walks during duty and hell was she funni.

Due to the fact that the corridors we guard have classes belonging to the lower sec who are also having their recess, the place is deserted. My partner has of all the time chose to tell a ghostly encounter experienced there.

According to her, on a particular weekday afternoon while our sec 2 classes where having classes (sec 2E1, 2E2, 2E3 and 2N1) are situated on the same corridor), sounds of a lady singing chinese opera was heard. I am in class 2E1 and no one heard anyth but the other classes heard it. One of the teachers stood out to check but see no one. And whaddy know, some of the students saw a red figure floating pass their classroom!!!!!!!! *Eeek*

Gosh, and some scouts camping in school saw the same apparition sitting on the aircon box outside the library. Scared the shit out of them.

The hairs on my arms were like standing and my partner is a darn good relating such stories so it probably sounded more scary when she related it to me in comparison to you reading it here. Not to mention we were at the 'scene' when she told of the encounter.

As for our school's technical block, it was rumoured to be haunted with sightings of an old lady sitting on a rocking chair but during those times when I was patrolling nothing was sighted not even the rocking chair. *phew* and it was deserted. Scary as it sounds but it is a pretty good place to slack since practically one one goes there :p

Loved the fire drils too cause can skip lessons haha... You can practically hear the joyous chorus from the students in my class when a boring lesson is interrupted with the fire drill bell. We usually spend ard half an hour out in field talking non-stop (just glad to be out of the class and knowing the fire was not for real) for such drills.

Ahhhhh...the joys of the good old days...

LAuGhTeR tHe BeSt MeD

Little Man was hilarious...

Caught the movie yesterday at Cathay Causeway point. My bf and I were gunning for the 730pm show and it was like close to 10 mins after 7 when we joined in the queue for tixs. Heck, the queues were long but thankfully we were onli 3rd in line. The unforunate thing was that the line moved at snail speed.

The couple at the head of the line was taking an excruciating looong time to get their tixs, popcorn, hotdogs and drink. Excuse me, at 725pm I was still 3rd in line for my tixs. WTH! Finally, they got their 'trash' and left the queue and by 730pm sharp I got my tixs with a pretty good seating. Thank god.

Meanwhile, my bf had rushed down to the basement level to smuggle in double cheeseburgers, fries and a coke into the cinema :p. We were starving (me shot there straight after work while he just got back frm a reservist session) and did not want to put our tummies at the mercy of sky high popcorn n drinks prices.

Got our food in without a hitch and happily munched on while laughing at the antics of the awesome actors in the movie. Am realli growing to love comedies more than horror shows lately (had I gone chicken?!)...

The show deserves a 8/10 for making me luff real hard and ending the evening on a smiley mode. Go watch it or rent the DVD when its out for some laughter induced abdominal exercise. Excellent to tone up your abs and release happy chemicals. Just dun juke while watching it (like I did) :p

To HeLL wITH bIg BuLLiEs

Talk about school bullies. Here are some incidents I wished I had yanked the hair off those *%*&!
Bully incident 1
Time: When I was in primary four (i think)
Bully Scene: In the school bus
Statement: I was happily on my way home on the school bus and happily minding my own business, when this senior (think he was pri 6), grabbed my pink water bottle's strap through the gap at the side of my seat (he was sitting behind me) and refused to let it go even when I reached my stop. Hell, I was terrified of missing my stop and losing my water bottle. Cried buckets coz I decide to give my water bottle up and alighted. The next day, the bus uncle gave it back to me as the bully did not take with him when he alighted.
Bully incident 2
Time: When I was in primary 2 or 3
Bully Scene: In the school canteen
Statement: There was this girl in my class who was one of the more popular girls in school and I was one of her friends. For duno-what reason during recess time, she got mad with me and demanded sit on a puddle on the floor when it was close to line-up time to go back to class. I was close to tears. Thankfully, another friend who was more bold, pulled me to the back of the line to sit with her.
Really, if onli I was more assertive, I would have kicked that bully and stand up for myself in both incidents. As proved by many experts, bullying is a sign of insecurity in actual fact not a sign of power.

Had mac for lunch yesterday at the mall opposite my work place...

Munched leisurely on nuggest with coffee and fries. With much time to spare. I hope to the gorund level of the mall to look at the books that were on sale there...

All the books were on cheap cheap sale although not exactly recent publications but some were inded great steals. Just looking at the price, gave me a racing heart beat haha...was that excited over a cheap and good read.

I spent close to 40 minutes browsing through and spotted a real good deal. Sue Townsend's (author of The confession of Adrian Mole etc) Number 10 in hardcover on sale for only 2.50!!!!!!!! Omg! And the book is brand new.

Snatched it up before anyone else haha *victorious*

The fiction books were like 3 for 6 dollars and some memoirs were going for like 5 dollars. Soooooooooo cheap and the books were displayed on tables and I din feel dizzy after looking at em. I luv book sales.

Just like in the past, I got one of my fave Stephen King short stories collection book 'Everything Eventuals' at the pre-revamped Marina Square for only 5 dollars! Less than half the usual price! Freaking good deal!

Hope there will be more new books on display at the mall... I wana get more!!!!!!!!!!!

MrT wOeS

Okay, the train broke down again yesterday evening. It sucks big time!

Got off work at close to 7pm and made my way to the MRT station. Happily got into the train and waited. 1 min, 2 mins, 3 mins, the train did not budge and passengers were getting fidgety. It was then and announcement was broadcasted to inform passengers that the train will be delayed due to technical fault!

You can practically hear a chorus of helpless and sian-ness frm all in the train. Waited, it was probably close to 10 minutes (or maybe even more) when the train finally got moving (by then some passengers have alighted opting to hail cabs or hop on buses).

I was relived the train was moving but whaddya know? It stopped at the next stop, and the next stop and the next stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the same announcement was broadcasted over and over again. I wanna scream but thankfully I wasn't in a rush. Stood till my feet could grow roots I tell ya....

When the train was finally on the way to my hometown of tomato land, it stopped not once but twice on the journey. Halted in front of some HDB flats and I could practically hear those people pounding on the pavments in view of the train or people on buses saying/inwardly thinking "oh, the train spoil arh, heng I never take train but chose to walk/take bus!"

To add to the sian-ness, an uncle standing about 2 to 3 individuals away from me was muttering 'shit!' everytime the train came to standstill and checking his watch. Bet he is in a bad rush.

Finally got to amk at close to 8pm. God, almost an hr to travel over 6 stations?!

Why why why??????????

PoOr KiTtIeS

Recently, I have fallen head over heels with babydoll tops.

Why hadn't I discovered them earlier? Babydoll tops are such a joy to wear. They are pretty looking, come in all colours and designs, tubes, ruffled sleeves, spaghetti straps tied into little ribbons etc etc...

At last count I think I have close to 10 babydoll tops and heck I still want to acquire more!!!!!!!!
They are perfect to hide bulging tummies and my number 2 choice top if I am going to pig out at all all-you-can-eat buffet haha...

My fat concealer without the surgery outfit. Love it (not to mention cheap deals around for the tops)!

On a more solemn note... A *&%$# cat abuser cum killer is on the loose. The ST reported 18 dead cats suspected to be murdered by the same killer. REALLY, it pains my heart to read such news and the pitful pictures brings tears to my eyes. I have blogged about this before but heck I am going to say it again:

MAY ALL ANIMAL ABUSERS BE REINCARNATED AS COCKRACHES MANY TIMES OVER AND BE CRUSHED A SLOW DEATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those poor helpless kitties have no where to no run, can't scream for help, subject to torture and have to die in such immense pain. MAY THEIR SOULS BE BLESSED.

*&%)%##@ ABUSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *ANGRY*

tHe DeViL wEaRS pRaDa

Caught The Devil Wears Prada yesterday evening...

Personally, the show was pretty good both humourous, touching and self reflecting. Merryl Streep was the cool cat Miranda and Anne Hathway the silent suffering I-know-if-I-can-survive-Miranda-I-can-make-it-big Andy.

*spoiler ahead*

Being the 2nd PA to the prestigous RUNWAY magazine, Andy's job is to die for and many girls' dream job. But I guess it is only when you are in her position will you realise the job's not as glamourous or a bed of roses.

Andy is subject mercilessly to Miranda's coat flunging and handbag clearing routine, hot starbucks, I-want-steak-but-on-the-other-hand-I-am-not-hungry, copies of the latest Harry Porter's UNPUBLISHED manuscript for her twin daughters, arranging a flight when the weather is sooooooo not safe as a hurricane is wreaking havoc outside and many other hair raising, nail pulling errands.

Thank god, Andy found solace and a secret mentor in the form of Nigel (an art director who was denied a chance to be a prestigous partner of a design firm in Miranda's bid to set in cast her position at RUNWAY). With the help of Nigel, Andy transformed her former mousy and ratty self to a classy and decked in chanel, versace etc etc PA (Miranda calls her THE FAT GIRL as though its like a dirty word).

Slowly but surely, Andy starts to get the hang of the job and gets things nicely done even before Miranda asks of her. So good she was that she was offered in place of Emily (the 1st PA in line) to go with Miranda to Paris and get to wear corture (a longing of Emily who went on a diet to fit into those extremely expensive dresses).

The perks of the job are plenty and makes your head spin as you mix with all the high and mighty fashion people but Andy's relationship with her bf was taking a back seat and suffering with her hectic early 6 odd hours til 2am work days. They decided to call it quits before she went on her Paris trip.

The trip opened Andy's eyes to Paris and she learnt that Miranda was to be sacked from her position and replaced by an arch enemy. Not exactly a good timing as Miranda was facing divorce from her second husband when in Paris. The soft side of her was revealed to Andy and she felt sorry for her.

Hence, Andy tried to warn Miranda of the news but to no avail. Later at a dinner function, Miranda took to the stage to announce that her arch enemy was invited to be the partner of a design firm (originally Nigel was the one who got offered). Andy was stunned and Nigel obviously disappointed.

It turns out (as Miranda reveals to Andy on a car ride to another function) that she had already knew of the news and did what she deemed right to keep her job. Andy was appalled. She realised she no longer wants to work for Miranda or live the life that Miranda was living and left.

Andy soon got another job at a newspaper firm and Miranda told her prospective employer to employ Andy or else 'he is an idiot'. Happy ending.

Gosh, it is scary working for Miranda but really when placed in such an environment, you will be surprised at what you can do. The job has its stresses but I got to admit it looks darn fulfilling haha...

Anyway, whats most impt for me in a job to be able to do what I lurve, have time left for family, loved ones and friends. :)

PoOL sIdE eNvY

I think I am going crazy...

With this sweltering heat, I am actually thinking of going for a swim...

The tranquil neighbourhood swimming complex (on a early morning weekday of course), the clear pool waters, the warm sun 'roasting' my skin and jus laze of the pool side deck with my mp3 plugged into my ears... Aaaaaaa.... relaxation at its best.

Am reali craving for a nice tan (although the after tan care for my skin is quite a hassle) BUT submerged in working life = no time on weekdays to go tan at all :(

I wan to splash into the pool and submerge myself in the cool waters for hours (but spare me the prune wrinkled skin haha). I think my bikinis are collecting dust in my drawers haha...

Those were the days when I can practically lounge the day away at the uncrowded swimming complex (am not revealing this heavenly place :p). I want I want I want!!!!!!

GroSS & yUm

Caught Art of The Devil 2 on the silver screen on Friday at Cineleisure with my beloved and friend.

Freakingly gross and I have to confess I had my eyes tightly shut during most of the scenes in the movie. GROSS GROSS GROSS! Thankfully the theatre wasn't deserted if not *horrified*

A summary: The film centers upon the dark arts (black magic aka voodoo) and how a group of students got entangled in it and faced the consquences of their wilful and naive actions. Really ewwwwwww...

I was worried I was gona have nightmares after the movie haha...

Please be advised to watch it if you have
1. A strong stomach
2. Love gore as much as you love $

On a more delish note, I have finally trooped down to the famous Mellben seafood restaurant yesterday evening. Together with a group of friends we tucked into yummy butter cream crabs, mongolian pork ribs, steamed prawns, claypot tofu, playboy chicken (wat kind of name is that for a dish?) and veg. The crabs were huge, you should have seen the pincers!

The place is really well known, packed to the brim and we had to queue for a table with no reservations allowed. The staff were even equipped with walkie talkies to communicate!

The bill ran up to $167 for 8 people which works to $21 per pax. Was satisfying full and walked home with my bf to burn some calories :p

Yum yum!!!!!!!!!
