MaNgo

Rem the cute budgie at the Singapore Flyer, I blogged about some entries earlier on?

Here's the cute feather friend.

True to his moniker, Mango the mischevious budge is resplendent in vibrant yellow and orangey red. Resembling so much like a fleshy sweet ripe mango. Hahahaa... According to the trainer/owner, he is the most cheeky, naughty one among the bunch of 4 birds he brought along - 2 cockatoos and 2 budgies.
Mango and the other birdies' trainer/owner.

One of the cockatoos. Forgot its name. Mango was the onli name I rem outta the 4. :p

All the lil kids gathered on the first floor of the Flyer were totally charmed by these birds. Many were clamouring to hold this feather friends, taking pics and posing. Even the adults were amused.

Cockatoo: Don't see till like dat lah. I shy lah~

A lil boy and his this-birdie-is-cute-and-he-is-on-my-arm-but-i-am-a-teeny-weeny-scared expression.
The BF was much inspired to keep a mango-look-alike next time. Hmmmmm~

dEad sKiN cELLs BeGoNe!

Kenko Fish Spa.
Belated pics of the bf and yours truly's experience at Kenko's Fish Spa outlet at the Singapore Flyer. Had wanted to go and try ever since I laid eyes on this special group of fishies that feed enthusiastically on dead skin cells.
Us at Kenko Fish Spa. At the middle pool with the strongest/ most hiong fishies.

A particular breed of fish known as 'Turkish Spa Fish', these little fishies feed on a human's dead skin cells, lightly nibbling on the dead skin cells to reveal smoother, brighter skin. It was a teeny weeny intimidating at first when I gingerly sank my bare feet (jeans rolled up to knee length) in to the pool. This whole swarm of hungry fishies swam at rapid speed towards mi and attached their mouth and started feeding.

For a moment, Piranhas moment sorta came to mind. Hahaha

The initial sensation was slighty ticklish (dependent on one's threshold for tickles - there's was this malay lady who was laughing like mad and making whoops and aaahhhh sounds for the first 15 minutes in the pool; pretty amusing sight to watch :p). After that it was pure relaxation. Just allow these lil marine creatures to do their work.

Close up pic of the hungry fishes working on my foot.

A much clearer shot. I think my feet alot of dead skin cells. Compared to the BF, I had much more fishes swarming my feet.
The whole session lasted ard half an hour and I must say my feet did look much cleaner. Wun mind trying it out again :D

BoTAK cHaRmS

I was at Botak Jones with the BF on sat. At the AMK outlet, I had been like dying to try their steak for eons and eons.

Upon arriving at the bustline kopitiam, we had to quickly scanned for seats coz it was dinner time and the kopitiam was getting increasingly packed. Got a seat, and flipped thru the yellow pages print out menu in Botak style.

We ordered the Australian Rib-eye steak 200gm for moi and the Cajun Chicken (large) for the bf *am feeling hungry as I type this* . Didn't really have to wait long for orders to be served even though I have been fore-warned by the bf and frenz to wait up to 40mins for meal. The friendly lady at the counter who took my order gave us a max 30 mins wait.

To our surprise, our food came in the next 10 mins. Damn fast lah! We even ordered Rojak before that to satiate our hunger in case it really took a looong time. -_-III Oh wells.

I had my steak in medium-rare. It was extremely juicy with the right amount of blood. I am so having it again the next time I am there. Even the bf wants to have it. His Cajun Chicken was a lil on the dry side.

The grouse I have with my steak is the plastic cutlery as the usual ones like all used up. Very hard to 'attack' my beef with plastic 'weapons'. :p

I wanna go again. Be set to be pay around $30 bucks if u have 2 steaks. They also have more ex options like 30 plus buckeroos for 200gm beef (1 steak).

*hungry for steak*

Happy Woof Woof Day!

The furball fella turns 3 TODAY!

Time sure flies. I still rem the day he arrived my place at 3 months of age looking pretty raggedly and curious. Weighing like a lil over 2kg, Whisky has since put on weight and now staggers at 8kg. Can't carry him for long before my arms threaten to give way. :p

Had a mini celebration for him. Filled with cakes, his fave can of wet food, lots of picture snapping and laughter.
The boy is a great cake lover! See, can't even wait to blow the candles before sneaking a bite of the cake.

Happy birthday my furry bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tIC tAC toE

My poor toe.

I unsuspecting tore my right foot's big toe last week. It was super duper ultra OUCH!

That fateful incident happened when I decided to take the stairs to my 5th level office after an excruciating wait for the toopid lifts. Opened the harmless looking staircase landing door without realising my foot was sibeh near the door and hey presto! Scrapped the hard as nails door over my big toe.

If not coz it was a public domain, I would have shrieked till the whole building shook. I never experienced such intense pain since like eons ago when I stapled my finger not once but TWICE and had to pull out the staplet.

*shudder*

Now my big toe looks sucky even though the pain has subsided enough to allow me to run.

*urgh*

Close up pic of the shoes. Although the shoes are reali ex but I juz can't resist coz it looks so cute and something I would wear lor. :D

Due to the fact that the a particular tuft of hair on his head was getting way too long and keeps flopping over, often hindering his sight. Couldn't bear to cut it so my mum and mi decided to do this:

Close up of the hair-tie. Suprisingly he din resist it. But my bro was disgusted. Hahaha

I snapped alot of shots of him in his new hairstyle. Think he realli got bored of me prancing about infront of him with my camera.

Then he started to look pissed.

Taking a ride up up up...

The BF and I made our way to the Singapore Flyer on Sat for our 6pm ride. It was a drizzling afternoon and we were a lil sianz coz if it starts to pour like mad, the view will definitely be a damper.

Our complimentary tixs courtesy of Sony Singapore.

The World's largest observation wheel. Well at least for now. :P

The fish reflexology that me and the BF went a couple of weeks ago. This pic was taken outside the shop on sat when we passed by. This particular pair of legs din have alot of fishies 'feeding' on it. :D

The bustling queue of excited kids and adults. Mainly tourists.

A lil girl infront of us.

On the way to get into THAT cabin.

Almost in.

Going up S.L.O.W.LY.

We shared our cabin with like 8 other people. Would have been nice it was juz the 2 of us :p

Me at the entrance of the cabin door. Look at the view.

Happened to be NE NDP preview day.

Red lions from the sky high above. Will be seeing them again in early Aug.

More red lions.

A red lion making his landing at the Marina floating stage but too small to see in this pic lah.

Duno what is that below.

Cruising speedboats which came from the Marina floating stage direction.

Highway views.

Happi ppl going for their flight.

Me and the BF. Frankly the ride was a tad boring coz we see the same scenery thru the 30 min ride. Started to camwhore and some people actually juz chit chatted without looking at the scenery after awhile.
Still it was an experience to be so high up. I got more pics coming soon for my haiji lane day out and whisky :P
