The weekend was a scorcher!

Met up with my colleague for a shopping spree on Sat at Haji Lane, Arab Street, Bugis Junction and Bugis village. Main objectives for the day:

1) Get beads to 'zhng' her camera a
2) Look for basic tops and satin berms (hers)
3) Look for more shirt blouses and assorted tops (mine)
4) Gossip (ours)

We achieved all our objectives with aplomp and ended the day with sore feet, persiprinfg bodies and lighter wallets.

Why am i like so sleep deprived almost everyday?

Technically I have like 7 hours of dreamless sleep. But I still wake up sleepy (even on wkends).

Plus I need to lay off drinking too much water. It gives mi bloated eye bags.

Recently I got hooked on vitagen collagen. I once tried the lavender flavour one but it wasn't exactly agreeable so when one fine day my mum told mi the elderflower flavoured one was yummy, I decided to give it another try and hey presto it actually tastes pretty good! The original flavoured is oso nice!

But I can't seems to find the lavender one liao (but doesn't matter lah, since I don't reali like that flavour anywhere). With 500mg of collagen and 50mg of vit C in a small bottle, I am making it a point to drink it everydae :D

With billions of probiotics, what's not to like? :)

GeTTiNG a kICk OuT oF it

Got on an ultra packed train this morning on the way to work.

Have freaking no idea what caused the damn delay. All I know was I missed 2 trains and was squashed between 2 guys with only like 1mm breathing space. Then spying a emptier space in the middle of the cabin, I inched my way there onli to meet with a 'tsk tsk' from this LV bag carrying lady who was leaning against a pole and refusing to budge in.

Excuse mi lady, since u are one big ass of not moving in can't u kindly let mi thru? Carrying an LV bag does not make u any classier k. If so, take a cab or drive your own car lah instead of taking public tpt.

So pissed. I practically kicked her LV bag when i squeezed thru.

In an extension to my (and my colleagues) fanatical obsession with all things Po (the star of Kungfu Panda), I am now a proud owner of the action figure of the rolly polly panda with compliments of my sweet colleague.

And.... it's been ages since I laid hands on a Happy Meal Box (the last time think was when I was under 10 years of age)! Omg, is so damn cute and vibrantly coloured. I still rem one of the main reasons I was tickled pink by Happy Meal besides the toy is the box. U can punch out the dotted lines on the box to turn it into a castle etc.

So happy!

Lunch was an extremely light affair for me ydae. Wasn't exactly hungry so seeked comfort in a cuppa peppery and very tasty MOS's clam chowder soup.

I love the soups at MOS from the clam chowder to the corn soup. Imagine nursing a hot cuppa hot soup in a freezy aircon room or when u are unwell, that is so comfy just like snuggling under the comforters in a chilly weekend nite.

I love soups. A nourishing broth to soothe the soul and infuse my body with a steady stream of feel-good vitamins and minerals.

A lady just sank her heel into the side my feet while I was on the bus. The driver made a sudden jerk and almost everyone was toppling on each other (okie, lah not so exaggerated) so I dun blame the lady except it reali hurts alot. There's like a dent on my skin now (her heel damn sharp lah).

I think he realised his judgement was wrong coz he din stood up after that.

Caught Kungfu Panda at AMK HUb on Sat with the BF and boy was it an enjoyable watch. My review coming up soon on chummycheryl once I clear my scatterbrain first.

I love the black peper steak at this famous western food/satay stall at the hawker centre at Clementi. Situated just opposite the POSB Bank near Clementi interchange, the steak and the fiery black pepper sauce is addictive!

I can skip the chilli sauce for the fries and just dip em into the black pepper sauce. YUM! In fact I am craving for it like NOW NOW NOW!!!!!!!!!

Yay, have proceeded to the next level and met the first BOSS in Silent Hill: Origins ydae. But sad to sad I got whacked by that undistinguisable piece of lumbering mummified gooey mess. My health was on red alert and THERE WERE NO HEALTH DRINKS anywhere.

Am still stuck in the abandoned hospital, going between the real and alternate world thru the mirrored portals. I think I need to devote a couple of days to the PSP and only going for loo breaks to complete it. Am armed with my trusty cheat codes and manual for quick reference.

My dear brother ( muz 'poa' now coz i wanna play his psp *ahem*) has just gotten a new PSP slim.

Being a gore/horror game lover, I of course cant keep my itchy fingers off his new toy. :D

Bugged him to let mi play the moment I got home and finally settled down to lose myself in Silent Hill: Origins.

I never caught them movie but I do know the game is much more exciting than the movie itself. Spun off a couple of series on the computer already, this is the first time I played it on the PSP. Pretty decent graphics and eerie music.

I wanna play somemore! Still in the early stage of the game and feeling a lil awkward as i'm like very new to the psp, my fingers are still not reacting as fast -_-III

Well, as the wise one will say: "U juz gotta practise practise practise."

Sometimes I wish I have an extra 12 hours a day.

These couple of days have been a mad mad mad rush. Time flies by like a bullet train, leaving mi panting and looking like a xiao char boh.

Hahahaha.... *wry smile*

In other news, I have been trying to achieve my no-poles/handles stance in the mrt cabins these few days. Previously for the past 20 odd years in my life, I suck at balancing in the cabins without any support. Having to clung for my dear life to the steel poles or handles (often stained by infinite number of messy fingerprints) as the train cruises ahead (sometimes jerkily or haltin to a sudden stop).

During times when I have nothing to grip on, I would fearfully perched all my 10 toes and dug em into my flats. All this a bid hoping i can balance and not fall flat on the hard ground with impassive commuters looking on.

Hence, I am a little proud to say I have managed to achieve some sorta balance recently from my tomato land to raffles place without holding on to anyth :D

But i have noticed train rides seem smoother when the train is under tunnel (sudden halts not counted) then when its outta the tunnel. And I still don't get it y muz one read newspaper in the train when it's clear that there is no space to flip your papers wide open????????????

WhErE aRt ThOu Is My TrAiN?

Train disruption at Sembawang during the peak hour this morning. I arrived the red tomato MRT station only to see a horrifying 7 minutes wait for the next train. On a normal day, the waiting time is between 1 to 2 minutes so 7 minutes is basically a heart attack, since escalator after escalator full of commuters appear every minute.

When I got to the platform, it was already packed with communters. U can sense everyone's frustration at the long wait. The first that came to mind was: damn, am going to be late.

Thankfully, an empty train was released on the middle platform and I even managed to plonk my butt on a seat. :D

Have no idea what happened at Sembawang (technical fault? Another suicide jump?). Only knew the problem started there after my bf rang me.

Anyway, I juz gotta rant (again!) at the unruly behaviour of extremely gan cheong/kiasu commuters. AND it's not limited to some aunties but well dressed executives. Rushing for their life as if playing musical chairs. When it's obvious that there is NO more seats and u have to use your 2 legs to stand and there IS AMPLE space for everyone to stand, they still duno rush for what.

Idiots.

Urgh...

Got a nightmare last nite where in my horror dreamscape, I met this vengeful girl hantu who wanted to harm some kiddos. In a bid to stop her, me and some other people started chanting buddhism prayers (dun ask mi how I managed to chant those prayers, coz when I woke up I can't recall the exact words).

We just chant n chant, while my eyes were tightly closed. But I knew during those moments, the hantu was like smashing the skulls of those kiddos as we chant.

Goodness it was so scary lo... I was sobbing and chanting furiously. Hoping she will stop stop stop.

After god knows how long, the chants managed to exorcise her. Thankfully, the victims skulls although were repeatedly smashed went unhurt. It was a miracle.

Then I woke up.

Goodness... i feel like pulling out my hair. Is there a button to shut down my ears for awhile. Somewhere in my office building a unit is renovating and the drilling is like a mad house.

Coupled with incessant knockings, I feel like I am in the middle of a CS battle war ground. Recently, after 6pm the drilling starts on the dot. And with the fact I am OT-ing due to a series of campaign as the June Holidays are here, makes it all the more perfect.

I hate those drills. Urgh *points middle finger at ceiling*
