Benefit Dandelion

Heard so much raves for it but even after sweeping it like 5 times on my cheeks, the colour still doesn't show. So disappointing lah.

Ending up using it as a face highlighter and yeah still looks invisible on my face.

Bought the powder pop where dandelion is one of the 3 colours in the pan. The other two is dallas (a more rosey pink colour;lovely flush) and hoola (a bronzer). Personally, i tink dallas is much better.

Am leeming for Georgia on my next pay dae :D

A soft peachy pink colour, I hope it's much beta den dandelion.

I want my Ma-Ling lucheon meat.

Still rem the days in my first job where mi and christel plus or editor Jackson will trooped down to the pathetic cafeteria downstairs for lunch.

Economic Beehoon and luncheon meat tops the list for must-add to beehoon.

Not onli is it uber cheap. It is also downright cheap cheap cheap although not healthy lah.

Hahahaa... We would 'fight' for the last piece.

That was hilarious.

Then, the contamination of luncheon meat had to occur.

WTH lah.

The other brands juz can't compete with Ma-Ling on price or taste.

Well, Seoul is intending to regulate the sale of dog meat. If it goes through, it will be legal to eat dog meat in Seoul.

How could one eat dog meat?????

Head on down to MindCafe located along Purvis Street with the BF and his friends on Good Friday evening for a round of boardgames till 11pm.

Frankly, this is a damn good n affordable way to unwind and break the ice. Inhibitions are lost and u get to see the wild, gan cheong, lost and absurbly funny side of the friends, colleagues, loved ones u have never seen before.

At $12 bucks per pax, u get a game of your choice and snacks.

2 must-play games whenever we trooped down to MindCafe:

1) Taboo

In this game, you have two teams, alternating every other person in the teams. One person draws a card. This card contains one word, which that player must make his team guess. It contains five other words, which that player is prohibiting from saying in his efforts. Otherwise, he can do anything he wants. The goal is to get his team to guess words on as many cards as he can in 1 minute or less. If he ever uses a "taboo" word, then that card is discarded.

2) Jurassic Jumble

This game is a damn chaotic and violent game. U are warned. Scratches from fellow bone snatchers are a common sight. The game is played where each individual gets a mix of coloured cards. One has to switch cards with fellow players till a full set of the same coloured cards are in your hand. Once this is achieved, quietly pick out a bone and wait for the rest to follow suit. The one player without the bone loses.

This game invoked thunderous laughter and probably mde our table the noisest group in the whole of MindCafe :p

One of the guys in the team damn poor thing. He had no bones for a couple of rounds and his arm transformed into a painting canvas for the rest hahahaa... It was so damn rib-tickling. Yours truly lost a round and 'won' a heart-winged tattoo on the back of my hand.

I tink I went hoarse somewhere in the middle of the game :p

Siao lang.

Was talking on the phone to my mum telling her to cook maggie mee for my dinner ydae after work. Was talking to her as I pass by the outside of AMK Hub only to be startled by a siao lang.

I swear my ears were open and I wasn't so engrossed with the cook-maggie-mee-for -my-dinner-coz-i-am-5-mins-away-from-home chat with my mum. How interesting for gossipy can that be right?

If a bicycle bell rang behind me, I could well hear it clearly. So imagine my shock when I heard a man screaming/shouting behind me and turned to see a bicycle whizz by. This man, no is uncle with a bloody dumb cap whizz by me and turned to look at mi. No he doesn't look angry or anyth but those kind of hahaha-i-gave-u-a-shock look.

Idiot siao lang.

U bet I swore. Into the phone to my mum. She heard mi curse man hahahah

Siao lang siao lang. What's a bicycle bell for lah? Want to shock ppl go buy a lambo if u can afford it and chiong traffic lights lah.

Caught the movie Horton at Causeway Pt's Cathay yesterday with the BF and I was pleasantly surprised by the enjoyment factor (ranked way up high) by this latest animated offering from 20th Century Fox Animation.

OoooOoooh... The sunny sun's out again! *big grin*

Hope it stays this way so my clothes can hurry up and dry man. The past few wet daes sucks real bad. While waiting for the traffic lights to turn green ydae, I almost got splashed soaking wet by the puddle of water by the road thanks to a big vehicle. So uber yuky!

Why doesn't it snow instead of rain??????? At least I can have a snowball fight. Speaking of snow...

WTH... wore a long sleeve top only to have the sun beating down so hot.

Urgh! It was raining so damn heavily ydae that the canals were threatening to spill over with murky muddy water. Flats soaked, ends of jeans turned a dark shade of blue and bus stops and trains packed to brim.

Thankful for the sun. Damn, shld have wore a short sleeve or sleeveless top -_-III

Rumours are flying...

It's been more than a week since the famed Mas Selemat has escaped from the 'high security' detention center...

... there's an insider helping Mas to escape

He was abused by the police/guards and died in the detention centre hence the cover up by releasing news that he 'escaped'...

...The Big Guys has let him escaped intentionally to be an undercover to spy on other terror grps...

And other absurb and 'hmmmm, it may just be possible' guesses... And of course the big question if he is still alive is he still in Spore or not? Pity the long jams over at the causeway... but what to do? We got ticking bomb in our midst now...

Another K drama...

I am officially hooked on this K idol drama - My Girl airing on Channel U on the weekends at 730pm to 9pm!

Started watching this drama onli like 2 wks ago and very much late into the episodes. The first thing I noticed? The male lead is sooooooo swoonsome lah!

I onli know his name in the show - GongCan or something. So cute lah he...*points agressively* Just look at those features he looks so ABC/Eurasian... *sigh*

I like almost tear everytime I see him n the lead actress together and when they have to fight off disapproval from the others.

Aiyoh.... shuai shuai shuai lah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Short background on the story (at least what I picked up from where I started watching which was like maybe 4 episodes halfway into the drama hahahaah):

Gongcan is the grandson of this rich hotel tycoon and the lead actress named youlin was 'recruited' by gongcan to pretend to be his cousin (no idea why). Along the way from bickering 'cousins' they fell head over heel in love with each other but refuse to admit initially. Till like on sat lah. Of course gongcan's ex gf (a celeb) was angry as hell to be dumped by goncan for youlin. So she tried to sow discord and revealed to gongcan's grandpa that youlin was a fake resulting in the lovers being torn apart (in the next episode on sat).

Typical story line ala coffee prince when lies are exposed, lovers shed buckets of tears, disapproval from parent/s grand parents etc blah blah...

But I am still addicted! ;P

Two of my fellow colleagues have acquired new cameras - Canon Ixus 75 and the Casio EX S10.

Happy snapping away with their new cams and I am all the more tempted to get one too ;(

A fan of Canon Ixus range, I love Canon Ixus series!

Not onli does it look good, the shots are also pretty gd. The only hesitation is that yours truly have no $ to get a new cam.

Darn.

Maybe Canon will chance upon this blog entry and give me one? I'll promise to shoot many many pics lor...

The escape of Mat Salamat has gotten me in jitters lah.

Who could forget the time he tried to launch an attack at Yishun MRT Station. Considering the fact that 90% of Singapore's population takes the train to and fro places on the island.

I scared myself one fine dreary morning on the way to work on Mon. The west bound train I was on halted in it tracks in the pitch dark tunnel midway to Raffles City for a LONG time. And that was not the worst. A loud horn was heard from the other end of the train warning of train coming at the back.

For those who ever heard of the terrible loud blare of the horn from the trains, that sounds can be downright scary~ So imagine u are packed in the train with fellow passengers, stuck in a pitch dark tunnel with all the exits closed tight and there's this oncoming train from the back blaring its horn and of course an escaped JI Leader hiding in the island.

Will you be scared?

I was.

I swore I could sense some tension from other worried passengers when the train halted a little too long.

So imagine my relief when the train started moving as per normal. *phew*

Was on the cab ydae after work and I got into a conversation with cab driver on the escaped JI terrorists. Everyone's fearing for their safety and also exesperated how such a dangerous man could escaped ala Prison Break except in a tak glam fashion from the humble loo to the open.
