dEad sKiN cELLs BeGoNe!

Kenko Fish Spa.
Belated pics of the bf and yours truly's experience at Kenko's Fish Spa outlet at the Singapore Flyer. Had wanted to go and try ever since I laid eyes on this special group of fishies that feed enthusiastically on dead skin cells.
Us at Kenko Fish Spa. At the middle pool with the strongest/ most hiong fishies.

A particular breed of fish known as 'Turkish Spa Fish', these little fishies feed on a human's dead skin cells, lightly nibbling on the dead skin cells to reveal smoother, brighter skin. It was a teeny weeny intimidating at first when I gingerly sank my bare feet (jeans rolled up to knee length) in to the pool. This whole swarm of hungry fishies swam at rapid speed towards mi and attached their mouth and started feeding.

For a moment, Piranhas moment sorta came to mind. Hahaha

The initial sensation was slighty ticklish (dependent on one's threshold for tickles - there's was this malay lady who was laughing like mad and making whoops and aaahhhh sounds for the first 15 minutes in the pool; pretty amusing sight to watch :p). After that it was pure relaxation. Just allow these lil marine creatures to do their work.

Close up pic of the hungry fishes working on my foot.

A much clearer shot. I think my feet alot of dead skin cells. Compared to the BF, I had much more fishes swarming my feet.
The whole session lasted ard half an hour and I must say my feet did look much cleaner. Wun mind trying it out again :D
