The bright side: Friendly and humanitarian Honest and loyal Original and inventive Independent The dark side: Intractable and contrary Perverse and unpredictable Unemotional and detached
After the enjoyable but freezing cable car ride, we descended half frozen and walked into dong chung mall for a spot of factory outlet shopping,
Have heard of the majestic-ness of the Big Buddha in HK and the popular Huang Da Xian, and my group rose early to prepare ourselves for the trip.
A very commericalised village just steps away from the big buddha. We had read online that we can see cows (din see any real life ones leh) and the whole place sounded very nice and cultural. But in the end it was just a pure touristy place where you can buy touristy souvenirs and take snap shots with cut-out boards. -_-III
Where the stars left a trail of sparkling stardust.
What went into my tummy on the first day of HK!

In the evening, it was ding dong time for desserts! Previous trip, I had tried the yang zhi gan lu (mango + pomelo ice dessert) at Xue Liu Shan - a famous dessert eatery. This time round, I trooped off to Tang Cheng to try their version of the same offering.
From L to R (top row):Having settled the check-in stuff at the hotel, the time check was 4plus in the late afternoon. The initial plan was to trooped off to Huang Da Xian Temple but upon checking with the hotel staff, we realised the temple closes at 5pm hence called for a change in plans.
One of my friend made a quirky remark.
Flew off to HK for a company trip over the Good Friday weekend and we were put up at the Langham Place at mongkok for 3D2N. A lovely hotel though there were slight hiccups during the check-in.
Back from the land of egg tarts and lo po bing.
