HK 2010 - 2nd Day: Dong Chung
After the enjoyable but freezing cable car ride, we descended half frozen and walked into dong chung mall for a spot of factory outlet shopping,
Last year, I had also made a visit to the small mall namely at the adidas and esprit outlet and bought a couple of tees for the bf and my bro.
This time round, I bought just a tee at esprit for my bro as I guess I was feeling quite shagged from the big buddha and huang da xian for the first part of the day.
Was at Guess and tried on a pair of shades and got my companion to shot a pic. A staff politely told us no photo taking is allowed in the store but the pic was already snapped :p
We also went off to The Peak for the tram ride and the beautiful skyline of HK at night from high above. Sadly, due to the heavy fog, nothing can be seen. Total disappointment for us. Did not managed to snap any pics due to 2 reasons:
1) Too much fog with no views to snap
2) Freaking cold with bone chilling wind
3) Camera batt died (so did the other companion's camera batt)
What we ate in the morning before we took off to huang da xian (realised should have placed this at the begining of the earlier entry). Had a set lunch of luncheon + egg and noodles soaked in light broth with generous sprinklings of veg.
The others in group tried the prawn dumpling soup. One thing's for sure, every cup of coffee I tried in HK tasty darn milky.
And this concludes the 2nd day at HK.
