The blatantly loud ones and the ones who try to mask their hunger for attention under the seemingly invisible cloak of subtlety.

I can pick up the scent of such morons easily. And I can tell you, attention seeking is only for those with an inferiority complex.

I have seen enough to realise how low some can go and how thick headed some people are not to realise the existence of such morons especially the latter kind.

And I anticipate the encounter of more of such beings till I lay 6 feet under.

wHAT Not To eAT DUrInG a (1st-TiME) dAte

While dining out at a very affordable casual Italian eatery at Liang Court one fine Sunday evening, I arrived at today's blog entry after trying a particular dish there.

*drum roll*

Squid Ink Pasta

Yes, these jet-black stained noodles topped with pieces of squid dish, is a creation I have been wanting to try.

To utmost mock horror and the BF's amusement, I endured stained lips, teeth and tongue (in cool black) while slurping up the decently tasty dish.

To quote the BF: 'You like you have been poisoned.'

I was then enlightened how tak-glam if I were to tuck into this plate of pasta should I was on a first-date with him. I would probably rate a big fat zero for looking like a squid eating sea monster or something.

So my dear frenz, never. I repeat NEVER, eat this should you go on a first-date with that special someone or a crush. It ain't pretty.

For those who are comfy with their other half to extend you are not paiseh to fart infront of him/her, do go ahead and indulge. Bare your teeth for smiles too. :D

New idol drama - Down With Love

Starring the affable Ella (from SHE) and Jerry Yan.

I love this drama series! Light fluff where tomboy-ish gal meets suave lawyer chap and falls in love with him (vice-versa) and making unlikely pairing.

The 2 male leads are equally swoonsome and heck I never realised Jerry Yan has such a hot bod or is oh so cute till this drama hit Singapore screens.

Catching it now on Youtube for the once a week (sat) broadcast is making my neck stretch long long lah.

Killed my colleague's kettle today.

Was happily going to refill water into the kettle to make instant cup porridge.

Probably was careless and caused the wire to ignitate a fire spark which tripped the whole office's circuit.

Thankfully, it happened during lunch time where my other colleagues, had already saved their work and all.

What a fright.

It's a wonder we can't even give up a humble seat to the elderly, preggers or young children on a train and have to be nudged to do so.

I witnessed a train service assistant having to politely asked a lady to give up her seat on the train to a pregnant mummy.

Why are we so lacking in the most basic of mannerisms?
