Doggies are real sly...

They have a knack for giving you puppy dog eyes (even when they have outgrown puppy stage and is like double your size) and make you feel darn guilty when you scold them for peeing, pooing, or chewing up your 2 dollar note *rolls eyes*

My dog is all of the above. Whisky is blessed with round, blackish brown eyes framed with long eyelashes that you can't resist looking into and go weak in the knees. In fact he has fully utilise those eyes of his to make mi, my mum, my bro and my bf to go gaga over him.

Scenerio 1:

Whisky has a real itchy mouth and loves to play 'bite bite' (which doesn't hurt at all) with us. Whenever he accidentally 'bites' us a tweeny little bit hard, we will hold his two front paws, make him stand up on his hind legs and reprimand him in a stern tone (although inwardly am trying hard not to luff). He will then try to look all over the place except the disclipinarian in the eye and lower his head. After a few seconds of scolding, he will slowly slowly squat down (tink his hind legs are feeling 'suan'), this action never fails to tickle the disciplinarian. And when whisky sees us luff, he will immediately wags his tail (which was hung between his knees while being lectured on earlier) and you can practically see his little cheeky face change 360 degrees from i-am-being-scolded-must-act-sad to hey-she/he-is-luffing-must-have-forgive-me-leh look... And the disciplinarian will hug and pet him all over again... We are so hopeless... Haha

Scenerio 2:

Whisky once with his usual itchy mouth and immense sense of curiosity, chewed up a 2 dollar note into pieces once when my bro was busy playing CS on his laptop; me in the shower and my mum out to buy lunchie... I stepped out of the shower and saw shreds of paper on the floor. Thinking it was just some newspaper he dragged from the storeroom, I paid no attention to it and attended post bath regime.

After I was done, I stooped down to pick and clear the shreds only to find they look vaguely familiar. I was thinking: "Whoa, when did newspapers come in purple print?". Then, I saw a familiar pair of eyes looking at me and recognise it was HIM. OMG! Whisky juz chewed up a 2 dollar note - that was the bad news. The good news? The money did not belong to me but my bro. Heh.

And whisky got a spanking as usual. All the while he hung his head low and give me that 'puppy eye' treatment. Oh god, I have sinned by spanking my lil' dog. Still he got to know he's wrong.

Scenerio 3:

He loves playing fetch-the-cloth-and-tug game and whenever he wans a game, he will take his little deep blue cloth tied into a knot in his mouth, drop it at any member of the family's feet and wait patiently. Sometimes when we ignore him/or was feeling too tired to play with him, he will paw at us or lift his paw up to tug at our arm. God, he has quite a grip I tell you. Then if we still paid no attention, he will whine and look at us with his big blackish brown round eyes. Once, we take at look at those darling eyes, we are sold. And the next moment, we will bouncing around the house with him playing fetch-and-tug :p

Why is my dog so manja (affectionate-seeking)? ;p
