Are you a Right or Left hander?

I am a left hander (considered a minority in the world of right handers majority) and interestingly I like being left handed.

When I was younger, I was shocked to learn that the rest of my family members are right handed. Curious I asked my mum and she jokingly mentioned that I was picked up from a rubbish dump (yeeah right).

When I got older, I heard from a friend on how she was born a left hander but due to some misconceptions people have about left handers, her uncle forced her to use he right hand. Now, she is pretty comfortable with both hands since she practised writing etc on the sly with her left hand.

Being a minority in the world of handiness, I have encountered minor and some major inconvencies of being a left hander. For example, when I was a newbie in my sec sch's table tennis club I was at loston how to swing and hold my bat since all my other friends are right handers. By chance my coach is a left hander so he understands my diffculties and the difference in playing between a left and right hander.

When I'm out, I got to be careful not to poke my elbows into the bowls or ribs of the person (who's a right hander) sitting on my left.

I also have the habit of writing my stuff sideaways till it can be pretty exagerrated. Many people have commented on the way (or direction) that I right with much amuse. Hahah...yeah, we left handers can write at such an angle, perfect for explaining and illustrating stuff to others haha

Happy to be a left hander I am ^_^
