Music, what will I do without you?

I had fallen in luv with music since I was in pri sch and it has been my faithful companion since then. Many of us can't do without music as it fills the silence in the air beautifully.

Thank heavens for MP3 players ( technology has its pros at times), gone are the days where I have to painstakingly rewind or fast forward my walkman just to get to the exact opening of a song. With just a simple push of the button or tap on the clickwheel, I can jump from song to song with ease.

No more worries of casette tapes turning moudly over the years or the stuff in them getting stuck and torn while being played. Thanks heavens.

With over 100 songs and still counting, my playlist keeps me occupied and transports me into different realm (of daydreams) while I am stuck in the train or a bus. Music makes time pass faster and my steps lighter indeed.

I especially lurve listening to my player and turn the volume up during the dead of the night where everyone's asleep or hudled under their comfy blankets. The still of the night makes the songs come alive and you gain a deeper understanding or perspective that the singer or song writer is trying to put across in the song.

No techno for me though, makes my head spin the moment I hear it. :p

I soooo want to learn to the keyboard. I think its a great de-stresser and help to soothe one's temper. Although I cant really figure out those beansprouty notes... Must start saving $$ for it. :p

Its a wonder with how songs can sometimes so aptly describe a particular feeling you are experiencing. Be it chinese, english, jap, korean or other languages, music is universal in its appeal.

Some of my fave classic songs replayed a million times and I won't get sick of 'em.

My Faves (in no order of preference)

1. Truly, Madly, Deeply by Savage Garden
2. I'll Be There by Escape Club
3. Right Here Waiting by Richard Marx
4. Numb by Linkin Park
5. Endless Love by H.O.T
6. Wo Nan Guo by 5566
7. True by Ryan Cabera
8. First Love by Utada Hikaru
