Whoa lau, raining over the weekend again... Ultra sian lor

In fact, was so darn lazy, sian and turned off by the rain that bf and me decided to stay put in tomato land instead of lugging our very unwilling bods to town for a spot of shopping.

We made our way to the hawker centre and had very yummi (one of the best in singapore) hokkien mee meal plus a mug of sugar cane juice before singing our lungs out at KBox. Hogged the mics till close to 103opm before we left the place with slight sore throats back to my home and a greeted by a very hyper whisky *grin*

Whisky makes coming home a real joy *wide grin*

Sunday was reserved for a trip down to Chinatown in a bid to garner some festivities atmosphere but again the on and off (again!) rain put on a damper. Din reali explored much coz the crowds was a slight killer and basically (and honestly) there was nothing much to shop or look at.

You have the typical stores selling those taiwan muah-chee, sweets of 101 kinds, waxed goodies, fa cai cat and other knick knacks. Went off down to town for seafood at Fish & Co at Centrepoint and the service there was very friendly and attentive (though the calamari was a lil over grilled).

By then it was close to 8pm so we idled a lil more in town before hopping onto bus back home. Darn, weekend just over just like dat... So fast~ :(
