cLuBbIng?

Do you club?

Frankly, the clubbing vibe is non-existent in my blood. I had only went clubbing ONCE in my 23 (coming on to 24) years of life. And I went because of one of my JC mates was celebrating her 21st Bday at DlbO.

It was a terrible experience. And it further put off this whole clubbing thing.

1) As we all know, the noise level at clubs are ear deafening, in fact the louder the more hip it is?! Half the time we were all shouting ourselves hoarse to make ourselves heard. I left at close to 2am and lost almost all my voice.

2) I can't take hard liquer though beer is fine. I'll break out in a rash. Had tequilla and whisky on that night though not on the rock but mixed with soft drinks and thankfully I did not wind up drunk. Almost puked in the cab though and had to get off halfway to puke in some drain. So unglam lor. Urgh!

3) I can't stand the stench of pregnant smoke at clubs. Left me smelling yucky from head to toe. Double yuck!

4) The female toilet scene was unforgettable. Long queues expected as everyone drank as though liquer was free and some girls realli got dead drunk. Puking non-stop at the basins/toiler bowls or laying half unconscious on the toilet floor with their other still sober pals trying to lift them up. Sad case man.

5) The bouncer was darn rude. Had grabbed my wrist roughly to check if I got the luminous 'mark' entry when I made my way back from the loo to where my pals were sitting . Ouch!

6) Bourbon coke taste awful.

I do have friends who are hardcore clubbers, going from one club to another and spending hundreds of dollars but it's just individual preferences. For me, I rather be out outdoors, basking in the sun and buring calories off my butt.

Clubbing? No thanks.

I don't club either mainly because I have two left legs. I dance horribly. I also can't drink as I am allergic to alcohol. Since I can't drink and dance, I always feel so out of place, so I'd rather chill out cozily at home.

oh yes, plus I can't make it pass mid-night most of the time. I will be 'shutting down' :p
