The Co organised an outing the SRC at bukit timah and it was the 2nd time I held a gun in my hands.

The first time was during JC Yr 1 when I crashed my friend's Air Rifle CCA session. I still rem how I suck at it and how heavy the rifle was. Hahaha...

Anyways, the outing was much fun as the instructors gave us a briefing on the history of shooting live targets such as pigeons (but I found it cruel lah). For the session at SRC, we (thankfully) no shoot live animals but targets in the form of a red clay circular thingy which they called a 'pigeon'.

The shotgun was god damn heavy k. Everyone of us had 30 rounds or so and I managed (by luck I think) to shoot 7/8 clay pigeons. We then took a break and proceeded for a game of table tennis which was hilarious as I mis-aimed my ping pong ball endlessly (sorry, coach I have let u down tremendously :p).

It was fun and look at my 'victory mark':

The bruise was probably incurred from the recoil from the guns. Even my lower jaw hurt coz we had to rest the lower jaw on the gun when we fire. That bruise had proceeded to turn purplish/blue/black/yellow after the BF insisted to rub it. I was hollering like a mad person coz it hurt like hell but yes bo bian lah, muz disperse the clot.
