bLoOd GoRe Mrt

Caught two total polar (extreme) opposite genre of movies over the weekend. Namely Saw 3 and Deck The Halls; see my other blog at chummycheryl (on the side under friends) for the reviews.

I seriously do think my threshold for gore movies had taken a turn for the worse. Just minutes into the movie, I was asking myself why on earth did I pay to watch people spew blood from all parts of their body. Should have watched 'Open Season'.

Haha...BUT everytime a gore/horror movie is on, I am the 1st to ask my bf if he wants to watch it. Ironic but old habits die hard. Very hard.

So till the day I faint while watching a horror movie or lapse into some fits, I am still watching such bloody horror stuff. >.<

On the continued note of blood and gore (I told you so), another MRT suicide/ unnatural death occured again at Yishun station ard 7 odd am yesterday. A foreign worker got hit by the oncoming train and services were disrupted for a good 40 mins or so. The train was hell packed to the brim even in the last cabin (usually the most deserted with the least (living k) human bodies in it). Managed to pack myself in if not I will be horribly late for work. Heng arh.

Well, for those who witness the accident. Not so heng lah. The trauma will be like ever present for at least a while. It is sooo not a nice way to die by flunging oneself off the ouch! tracks and get your body ripped into a messy mess. Worse than watching any gorey movie slapped with a R21 rating.

Excuse me, have people found the tracks a new 'trendy' place to kill themselves after plunging off HDB flats? I think it inflicts more trauma to others. And such acts are not PG at all. Imagine some toddler witnessing such acts (although I think people who really want to die, wun even give a heck)? Scarred for life.

It's scary to read such reports in the papers with such consistency recently. Really do hope the latest accident is the last of it all.

On a brighter note, it's the mth of dec and ta dah! X'mas is fast approaching!

Will be on leave tmr to go X'mas shopping with my close pals. Haha, long time no go shop the whole day. *throw hands up in glee*
